Hola, mi nombre es Marcia, soy mamá de Pedro y Elina fue su niñera desde hace más o menos 4 años. Ella fue de gran ayuda al principio, yo no tenía mucha experiencia, soy mamá primeriza. No solo me ayudaba con las cosas básicas de mi niño, sino también con cosas como: lavar su ropa, cambiar las sábanas y armar la cama de mi hijo, le dejaba preparada la mochila para cuando tuviera que ir al jardín, lo iba a buscar, lo ayudaba a hacer la tarea que le dejaban, lo llevaba a natación y lo iba a ver a cada actividad a la cual yo no pudiera asistir (y por el gran cariño que le tenía también iba conmigo aún así yo no lo necesitara). La verdad es una chica preciosa, llena de mucho amor, es muy amable y muy respetuosa, siempre entendió y marcó los límites necesarios con mi niño, respetó lo que yo le pedía desde el momento uno. Les doy fé que es preciosa la forma en la que se relaciona con los niños, nunca tuve ningún disgusto con ella, más que recomendada como niñera. ❤️

First things first – message the prospective babysitter or nanny about any past childcare experience they may have, and ask about references from prior families. Then you can check in with the other parents to see what their impression was of the sitter.

Then, you might consider offering a higher rate of pay to keep things fair if you’re asking for any help with things like tutoring or chores around the house - or if you know your kids can be a handful for even the most patient of sitters!
